Four Player Square (4P²) is a multiplayer platformer game for two to four players. You jump, push, shove, ride, and run with your friends as you try to collect as many coins as possible while reaching the goal. Sometimes it's more fun to push friends off a cliff and take all the coins for yourself. Other times, you'll have to work together to get to the end. 
You will be able to play with 1 to 3 of your friends (or enemies) as you jump (crush), push (shove), and run (race past others) in an attempt to collect coins and reach the goal. Most of the time you can just push your friends off cliffs and have all the coins to yourself. But, on occasion, you'll need a friend to help you out. To lift you to higher places to get more coins, or to use as a platform where you can continue through the level and your friend waits alone to waste away. But, if you're the more sympathetic type, there is no need to fear about the poor little block characters dying. After dying you will simply reappear on top of one of your friend's heads. In fact, dying can be all sorts of fun in this game. But don't get too sloppy, If everyone dies you'll be sent back to where you started, or the last checkpoint. So, grab some gamepads and buddies and have a blasty blast.

Instructions

4P² supports both gamepads and keyboards. It's highly suggested you have gamepads for more than two players, as some keyboards cannot support many keypresses (like my 1995 Data General). Gamepad Controls ---------------- Gamepads can be turned on by selecting Controls in the File menu. Up to four gamepads are supported. Move Left / Right = Joystick / D-Pad Jump / Select = Button 3 Keyboard Controls ----------------- The keyboard controls can be changed by selecting Controls in the File menu.
