Game Type: Windows PCBoro Toro is a side scrolling platform / puzzle game in which the player must control and manipulate various objects on screen to successfully navigate the environment.

Utilising an innovative and intuitive control system using Wii technology, the player must navigate through a variety of puzzles utilizing physics based principles to allow progression.

Help the Boros reclaim their precious artefact and solve the mystery of the Starlight Isles. You will face unique and challenging puzzles that will require all your logic and reasoning skills; often there is not just one solution to the problem you face.

Embark upon your adventure within a strange and magical land presented in a dazzling and distinctive visual style.

Boro-Toro was created by a team of 5 students for the Dare to be Digital competition in 2008. We won the competition and then went on to win a BAFTA as well.

Instructions

There are two versions of Boro-Toro, both run on Windows however one of them works with a Wii Remote and Nunchuk. To run the Wii version you will first need to pair the device with your PC via bluetooth, once that it done simply start up "CWii_Above.exe" or "CWii_Below.exe" in the "Playable Game/Wii Version" directory (which exe to choose depends on the placement of your sensor bar in relation to your screen). The app should start up and connect to your remote, if an error occurs please send an email to graham.ranson@monkeydeadstudios.com Once that has done just start up "Boro_Wii.exe" in the same directory, if instead you want to play the Mouse
