Description

Game Type: Windows PCBrainpipe: A Plunge to Unhumanity is a fpp arcade style game of real time spatial navigation and quick reflexes. Supported by hypnotic graphics, ear tickling sound effects and immersive dreamscape music, its free floating forward moving intensity gradually increases from serene to frenetic as you play. Brainpipe utilizes a one click interface so simple that...you know what we're going to say...a child can play it!

The object of the game is to strip away your humanity, layer by layer, as you play by plunging through deeper and ever more difficult levels of consciousness until nothing is left but the true you: an alien from another dimension. Honestly? We wish we were kidding but that's all we're allowed to say. Don't say we didn't warn you!

Instructions

Wiggle the mouse or joystick to steer your 'eyeball". Use the left mouse button (or fire button) to temporarily slow down/regenerate health. Avoid obstacles, but try to collect (by impact) the spinning "glyphs" for extra points. Every 10th glyph is a major glyph which looks different than the rest. Grab this one for more points and your level achievement. Do this at level 10 to win the game and choose your new form --a groovy alien monster-- and get a special badge of transcendence (honk!) on the high score list! When you start, you'll be looking through a wire frame iris. As you play, you'll note that impacts cause the iris to turn red and get thinner. This indicates your health. When it gets too thin and turns opaque red, the next impact will end the game. Press escape during the game to pause, to adjust sound volumes or to quit and return to the main menu.
