This game is currently just a prototype, sadly. It's pretty buggy, and may crash. Mostly, it is an experiment involving the control system and "health" system.
You play as Echo. Echo follows your mouse, and if he is in combat then he'll even disregard gravity to follow it.
Echo has a special power: when something hurts him, he is "reborn" fully healed. However, the old, injured Echo sticks around for a while. Echo can use this to team up with himself and take enemies down faster. His ability takes about eight seconds to recharge, so if an enemy wants to kill you he'll have to do it in less than eight seconds.
The game is mouse controlled, but was designed with the intent of working on a console with a motion controller (e.g. never doing anything that only works for a mouse, like resetting the mouse position).
Updated with a minor yet critical bugfix: Arena mode was not progressing past the second wave of enemies and sometimes crashing. This was due to rather obscure reasons having to do with misspelling the name of a color. Programming is crazy like that. Anyway, seems to work now.
Move the mouse around to move! You can't move through some objects (e.g. walls, enemies)! Left click to whack things with a stick. The longer you hold down the left mouse button, the more damage it will do. The cursor circle fills when you can attack again. Left click while moving fast to do a charge attack! This hurts enemies a whole lot and makes a loud noise! Hold down the right button while injured to use "strain mode". Echo will move as though he is uninjured, but injure himself more in the process. Use this to escape dire situations, or to hurt yourself and force a rebirth. Press Space for a menu. Some of the options don't work yet. Sorry. Press Escape to instantly quit.
