Galactic Arms Race (GAR) is a top-down shooter with modern 3D graphics and action RPG-style leveling and ship equipment system. It also features a novel weapon evolution system where most of the guns you find in the game are unique and evolved to the preferences of players. Think "Diablo in Space" with multiple star systems and ship equipment progression. The pilot interface is "WASD" movement and chase camera like action RPGs.

This is the GAR single player demo. The full version will be available on Steam and features:

- 32 player dedicated servers
- 60 Steam Achievements
- 200 levels, more systems, more missions, more enemies, more equipment, and weapons evolved by other players

Instructions

(1) Installation: To install the game simply extract "GAR-Demo-1.255.zip" archive wherever you wish. No messy installers or registry entries needed! (2) Prerequisites: The GAR demo requires the XNA 4.0 redistributable. It is included in the archive as "/XNA/xnafx40_redist.msi". (3) Running GAR: Click on "GAR Demo 1.2.exe" to run the game.
