What would you give for love? Discover your answer as you traverse vast lands in search of someone you love. The Eve is a dynamical meaning platformer, allowing the player to explore both the physical world and the narrative at will. As the player makes actions and choices throughout the game, the player may discover a bit about his or herself. At the end of the game, the player may very well be able to answer exactly how far he or she will go for love.

The Eve Created by: Husam Al-Ziab Mike Fowler Alex Gustafson Auston Montville 2009 Gamepad Controls: _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Joystick = Move Left / Right Button 1 = Pause / Un-Pause Button 2 = Use Ability / Shield Button 2 + Up = Fly Button 2 + Down = Dig Button 3 = jump Button 4 = Attack / Menu Select Keyboard Controls: _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Arrow Keys = Move Left / Right Shift = Pause / Un-Pause Z = Use Ability / Shield Z + Up = Fly Z + Down = Dig X = jump C = Attack / Menu Select Application Menu: _______________________________________________________________________________________________ File Reset (F2) = Restarts the application, opening the Main Menu. Pause (Ctrl + P) = Temporarily stops/resumes all activity within the application, excluding music. Controller (Ctrl + Y) = Temporarily stops/resumes all activity within the application, excluding music, and displays a small menu where the input device may be selected. ---- Switch to Gamepad Controls ---- Make sure the desired gamepad is set as the (Preferred Device) in the Windows Control Panel. Then, left-click in the grid location "Joystick 1 , 1". Select "OK" to return to the application and play with the desired gamepad. ---- Switch Back to Keyboard Controls ---- Left-click in the grid location "Keyboard , 1". ---- Custom Keyboard Controls ---- Make sure the application is set to use keyboard controls. Then, left-click on the "X" in the grid location "Keyboard , 1" to open the "Keyboard setup" menu. Left-click on the desired control to change, and follow the instructions on the screen. Quit (Alt + F4) = Terminates the application. Options Play Samples (Ctrl + S) = Turn On/Off all sound effects and music. Hide The Menu (F8) = Show/Hide the application menu. Fullscreen (Alt + Enter) = Enter/Exit fullscreen view of the application. Help Contents (F1) = Open "The Eve ReadMe.txt" file. About... (N/A) = Temporarily stops/resumes all activity within the application, excluding music, and displays a small description of the application. Main Menu _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Begin = Begins a new game. Continue = Continues the game last saved. The application saves the game automatically after each level has been completed. There may only be one save file in the application's directory folder. If there is no saved data, this option is disabled. End = Ends the application.
