Game Type: FlashVision by Proxy was developed by a group of students from the Computational/Digital Media program at Georgia Tech as a final project for the 'Game Design as a Cultural Practice' course. Team Rose consisted of 5 students and had 2 months to go through the entire process to come up with Vision by Proxy and is currently under development.
Vision by Proxy was chosen to be shown at the IndieCade showcase at E3 2010, where much of our team traveled to present the game to students, professionals and press. We hope to enter this game into future indie game festivals/competitions.
Instructions are included with the game, just press 'H' to bring up the controls. The object of the game, however simple, is that you must explore the world and find an engine piece that fell off your spaceship before returning to it. To explore, you must find and interact with the inhabitants of this strange world and then see the world as they do. -Hint/Spoiler- As this is a simple proof of concept, the game flow is still under development and difficult for some players to discover on their own. The large clouds are more solid than the others, despite the absence of an outline, and a mid-air switch must be attempted at the end.
