I'm a 7 year veteran of the game industry and came across indiePub as the premiere place for the Indie scene. I'm originally a console gamer, but have noticed as the years have gone by that console games are just getting bigger and bigger and taking more and more time to complete. Don't get me wrong, console games are still fun, but it's gotten a little too serious, know what i mean? Whatever happened to being able to play a game for some fun and not to waste my life over? That's where indie games fit my life. It's the incubator of cool new ideas and concepts, of new ways to play and think about games, and a place where games don't have to be taken so seriously! Yeah, how about if I don't rescue the princess? That sounds like fun!
